The Bioleather Line
OneMiddleChild began as an open experiment:
Garments cast from sea moss and agar, dried into leather, and hand-stitched with seams left intentionally visible. Every bioleather piece carries the record of how it was made.
No two panels cure the same way twice. That's not a flaw in the process. It's the material telling the truth about itself.
About me
Every textile begins as a formula. Merging biology and fashion design to craft real biomaterials. I research in public, so you don't have to start at zero.
This is a volatile process. It requires precise temperature control, pH balancing, and controlled dehydration. The result is a material that possesses its own nervous system: a "second skin" that is 100% compostable, returning to the soil from which it came.
